Masterson’s Lounge, situated in the center of Moonee Ponds , markets itself as a trendy “hipster” hangout , but my most recent experience at this establishment quickly devolved into an unforgettable, terrible experience. While the bar may appear inviting from the outside , what I encountered behind its doors was shocking and unacceptable on multiple levels .

The ground was covered in grime , and a pungent odor of old alcohol and filthy restrooms suffused the entire venue . Smelling a mixture of ammonia , old age and sickness .
